The inside of my Thermowell (on the bottom of it) is a little rusty. What can I put on it to stop the rust? I don't want to paint over it, obviously, because I want to preserve the speckled-blue enamel. And whatever I use must be able to withstand the high heat of the 'well. How does one stop the rust under these conditions?

Any suggestions?
